If less than 25 players, only the winner qualify directly for EC Day 2. If less than 10 players register, players are merged into the “Last chance” tournament. If there are 150 or more at the EC Day 2 will consist of 75 players. If there are less than 150 Day 2 will consist of 50. The following are qualified for the EC: - Grand Prix winners of the 2025 circuit. - Finalists of Last Chance qualifier tournament Friday. - Finalist or winner of the Welcome to EC2025 tournament (see that tournaments descriptions) After those are added, the highest ranked players from EC Day1 until we reach the player count needed. The next players on the list will be contacted and asked to be standby in case of no shows to the tournament. Sunday Rebound is played as a multi-deck tournament. Players may choose to bring any number of tournament-legal decks to the tournament and/or extra cards to exchange with cards in their decks (also known as a sideboard in some games). Between rounds, players may freely switch decks (or cards in their decks). From VEKN Tournament Rules 3.1.5. Week of Nightmares
If three full days of VtES tournaments are not enough, don’t worry - we have you covered. Monday - Thursday, the four days before EC 2025, we will arrange daily tournaments of varying formats to keep you entertained, challenged and possibly slightly horrified.
In addition to fun, addictive card tournaments we will also arrange a few non-VtES events and guided tours during the Week of Nightmares if there is sufficient interest - including family friendly options.

We have reserved tables at the Food Club for those who want to go out and eat the day before the big event starts. The concept is simple: a fixed price includes a great buffet and unlimited drinks, including beer, wine, lemonade, and more.
Tables are booked from 20:30, so even the finalists should have enough time to join.
